“In the beginning God created… “Genesis 1:1
Dan and I took a trip to Texas and were overwhelmed with the beauty we saw in nature and in the way God created man to be creative. The landscape of hills, lakes and plains with cattle and horses roaming freely was beautiful. In San Antonio we walked miles along the river walk. The pathway was filled with people who created a haven of beauty. God created all this for our enjoyment. The thought came to me, “When days are difficult, why do I forget God’s presence and creative power to take care of my troubles?”
Another reminder of God’s creativity was demonstrated when He created man. He placed in each person individual gifts and talents. We visited the TV show site for “Fixer Upper.” Chip and Joanna Gains, the stars of the program, were created with extraordinary gifts of creativity which they use to take old homes and buildings and make them beautiful. Sometimes the old homes are almost worthless. Out of the rubble, they make them into places for families to live. Joanna has told her story of how God lead her to design. This is an example of who God is and how God works. His creativity in our lives is beyond what we can imagine. Why do I forget in difficult days that God is present and is working to create His beautiful design in my life?
For God is good, and he loves goodness; the godly shall see his face. TLB Psalm 11:7
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NAS
