Our Logo
The oak tree in our logo symbolizes strength and is taken from Isaiah 61 where God speaks of His people becoming
like “oaks of righteousness.” This is the kind of strength that can withstand the pressure of a storm because it comes from God.
Founders
Dan & Jessie Westlund
Dan Westlund
Dan has served for over 44 years as a licensed and ordained minister of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. For the last 20 years he's served in Solution for Life, a nondenominational ministry which he founded. He has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Theology. Prior to ministry, Dan was part of his family business in Minnesota and more recently he's assisted in his son's business, Westlund Concepts. He loves the Word and bases everything he does on Christ; his passion is to know Him more. He actively studies the mysteries of the Biblical and historical events that are leading up to the return of Christ. It gives him great joy when he has the opportunity to sit down with people and teach from the Word. Dan & Jessie will celebrate their 48th wedding anniversary in 2020. They have three sons and eight grandchildren and consider their family one of God's greatest blessings in life. You can often find them attending events of their grandchildren when not ministering through Solution for Life.
Jessie Westlund
Jessie loves being a wife, mother and grandmother of 8 grandchildren. One of her greatest joys is spending time with her grandchildren and encouraging them to live in all that God has planned for them. God has given her many opportunities to minister to people over the years through assisting her husband, Dan, in church ministry, working as a nurse and eventually as the Vice President over Post-Acute services for Community Health Network, and most recently serving as the Vice President of Solution for Life, Inc. Her passion is to support people in discovering God’s plan for their lives through using their gifts and talents. She loves the Lord with all her heart and it is her dream that many find their joy in a personal relationship with Jesus.
