Our Logo
The oak tree in our logo symbolizes strength and is taken from Isaiah 61 where God speaks of His people becoming
like “oaks of righteousness.” This is the kind of strength that can withstand the pressure of a storm because it comes from God.
Founders
Dan & Jessie Westlund
Dan Westlund
Dan has served 50 years as a licensed and ordained minister of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Since 2000, Dan has served in Solution for Life, a nondenominational ministry he founded. He has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Theology. Before ministry, Dan was part of his family business in Minnesota and more recently he enjoys working with his son Doug at Westlund Concepts. Dan loves the Word and bases everything he does on Christ; his passion is to know Him more. He actively studies the mysteries of the Biblical and historical events that are leading up to the return of Christ. It gives him great joy when he has the opportunity to sit down with people and teach from the Word. Dan and Jessie enjoyed 52 years of marriage together. (Dan’s beloved Jessie stepped into glory on September 19, 2024.) Dan has three sons and ten grandchildren and considers family one of God's greatest blessings in life. Dan and Jessie often attended their grandchildren’s events together when not ministering through Solution for Life. Dan continues to minister through Solution for Life and still enjoys the grandchildren’s events.
Jessie Westlund
On September 19, 2024, the Lord Jesus welcomed our beloved Jessie into His eternal presence. Jessie loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother of ten grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and encouraging them to live in all that God has planned for them. God gave her many opportunities to minister to people over the years through assisting her husband, Dan, in church ministry, working as a nurse and eventually as the Vice President of Post-Acute services for Community Health Network and most recently serving as the Vice President of Solution for Life, Inc. Her passion was to support people in discovering God’s plan for their lives through using their gifts and talents. In life on earth, Jessie loved the Lord with all her heart, and it was her dream that many find their joy in a personal relationship with Jesus.
